As summer approaches, many people are looking for new places to dine with family and friends. Whether you want a quick bite to eat, or a formal dinner, Cambridge and Boston have a variety of amazing restaurants to choose from. Here are my recommended top three restaurants to visit this summer!
The first restaurant I would recommend is Eataly in Boston. Located in the Prudential Center, this half restaurant – half market is conveniently located for tourists and residents who want to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine with fresh sandwiches, pastas, breads and pizzas. If you ever stop by, I would suggest trying the margherita pizza and one of the many flavors of gelato they offer. However, because there is always a lively and energetic crowd, it can be difficult to find seating here. Overall, if you go to Eataly, you will always have a fun time!
The next restaurant I would recommend is Henrietta’s Table. Attached to the Charles Hotel in Cambridge, this is a classic New England, farm-house inspired restaurant and a go-to for breakfast. Upon arrival, I quickly noticed the welcoming and cozy atmosphere. They offer a variety of traditional breakfast foods, such as a homemade parfait, steak and eggs, and most importantly, waffles. I was impressed with the amazing service at a relaxed pace. All around, this is one of my favorite breakfast places. In my opinion, the only downside is that the breakfast outdoes the dinner options here!
Finally, Timeout Market. Also located in Boston, this food hall is perfect for anyone who wants many different cuisine options. It is located near Fenway Park, making it a perfect place to stop and get a bite to eat before big events, such as baseball games and concerts. They have indoor and outdoor seating, both featuring frequent events held there, such as Movie Mondays! If you want a relaxed dining experience in the city, even if the food is a bit pricier, this is the place for you!
