Since spring is approaching, many LS students might be looking for ways to spend time outdoors. The snow has finally melted, and the sun is shining, which makes many students excited about what is to come. With spring comes a lot of stress, with AP exams right around the corner, and students might want to find ways to cope with this stress. Locally, some activities LS students can engage in outdoors are walking or biking on trails such as the Bruce Freeman Trail located in Sudbury, MA. The Bruce Freeman Trail extends not just to Sudbury but also spreads through the towns of Lowell and Framingham. This trail is great for biking, hiking, or going on a walk with friends.
Another fun place to do spring activities is in Boston. Some fan favorite stops around Boston are Newbury Street, which contains shops and restaurants. Some of my favorites are Stephanie’s on Newbury, which has outdoor seating, which is great for the upcoming sunny weather. This restaurant has all kinds of food, such as burgers, pizza, and pasta. Some easy ways to get to Boston if you are from a suburb outside are taking the commuter rail from South Acton or Framingham.
Third, a place if you are near Boston is the Boston Public Garden. This garden has all kinds of flowers and is a great place to walk around. It is also near Newbury Street, so it is great to go to after eating a meal!
