Among the many fall sports here at LS, field hockey has been a stand out this school year. From their team spirit to their work ethic, it is clear that they have cultivated a community that inspires hard work and determination. This unmatched effort has put the team ahead of the game, leading to their undefeated regular season. Unprecedented on its own, their season has also made school history! Countless wins over top schools allowed them to enter into the playoffs, where the fight against challenging teams continued. Scores this season include a 10-1 win against New Bedford, a 9-0 win against Wayland, a 6-0 win against Newton-South, and many other impressive victories against other teams in Massachusetts. This strong dedication will hopefully motivate many others in the school to carry that same attitude toward their sport. Way to go LSGVFH on your commitment, focus, and strength this season!
