I had the pleasure of going to the LS Unified Basketball game on Wednesday. Teachers from all different departments, many students, and family members attendended. This game was nothing I had ever seen before. The crowd was electric, there was so much energy and support, and, of course, there were smiles all around. In the first half, the Lincoln Sudbury Warriors were leading 30 – 26. The LS unified Basketball team had incredible passes and strong defense, not to mention a wicked 3 point shot by Ben Hamilton. The cohesiveness of both teams really shined as everyone was working together to shoot some hoops. Both teams were dedicated: the score was tied at 10:55 during the second half, and it was anyone’s game. All of the players worked incredibly hard and showed that they all wanted to win. Ultimately, the Lincoln Sudbury Warriors took the bacon with a score of 61 – 49.
